more stone inspired screen printing

A happy accident was noticing the lines left in a sheet of A5 carbon paper from tracing numerous drawings on to lino, this had a marvellous ghostly quality.

As with previous prints, I scanned this but this time at a low resolution and enlarged a single image – I was curious to see how the low res fragmented as it was enlarged from a quarter of A5 to A0 size.

This felt like the image produced was a trace or a memory of the stone
